I have two 12 week old chihuahua males from different litters.  They have been together for one week now.  They usually play nicely but sometimes the roughhousing gets a bit intense.  I have to leave them alone for up to four hours several times a week.  Is it safe to put them in a large crate or pen together or should I put each of them in their own crate?

Thanks for your advice!

 Smiley Hello, Welcome to DogChihuahuas.
Regarding your dillema with the two males, the rough playing is a dominence behaviour thing,
and are both going for the leader of the pack position, however i would personally have them in seperate places, purely in case of injurys occurring, and see how it goes, hope all goes well, please keep us updated on their progress.  Smiley

Regards
Sarah
