Hi my name is Heather. I have been around dogs my whole life and got into showing for a family friend who raised Shelites when I was 17yrs old. I started showing other breeds for others I had met while showing. I had no show dog of my own, just my little Chi named Cujo. When I was 25 I found out I had cancer and had to leave the show ring behind. While I was on my last bout of chemo I got very ill and had to be hospitalized for 2 weeks...When I got home my little Cujo jumped on the sofa with me. He was very old and passed away in his sleep later that night. I like to think that maybe he was waiting for me so he could make sure I was ok or to say goodbye. I was heartbroken and did not ever want another dog. The saying time heals all wounds is true. A year passed and I made up my mined that not only was I going to get another dog but it had to be a Chi and I was going to find one I could also show as well as love and spoil as soon as I was better. I have now been in remission for 3 years and feel I am ready to fulfill my dream of hitting the show ring again. I have looked hi and low for a little female that is of show quality and also loves to be cuddled and loved. If anyone knows of a breeder that might have a young female that is show quality and would love a home where she will be adored forever Please keep me in mind and let me know. I unfortunately do not have a few grand to spend on buying a show puppy because of medical bills. This decision was thought out in length as far as if I was ever to be sick again. She would always have a forever home with me and my family so no worries.

Hello Heather, a very big warm welcome to DogChihuahuas.  Smiley

I will keep an out for your request, and hope you have luck in getting another chi.
They are such a loving loyal little breed, and a joy to have around.

Take care.
