hello i am a new owner of a chi female puppy and had 2 questions, hoping for help. The first question is, at what temperature do chihuahuas get cold/uncomfortable? I lived in west texas so it never gets like freezing, but like today it was cloudy, rainy and around 60 F. I feel like my puppy should be inside, but my husband says he really thinks she is happier outside. Like, she'd rather be outside. Her current living situation is mostly outside on nice days and inside while we are home, she's almost house broken. So, is it possible she may prefer to be outside even though it is chilly? Or do chi puppies always prefer to be inside where it's cozy over outside chilly weather?
Second question is kind of gross, but is it possible for female puppies to have yeast infections? Lately she has been licking herself in her private area. I can't really tell exactly what "private" spot, but I also feel like I smell something that's off. Usually only smell this "off" smell when she is doing that, licking herself in that region. Is this normal? or should I take her to the vet? Thank you for ANY help.

If your female dog is not spayed she is most likely in heat. I suggest keep her away from intact male dogs unless you want a litter of puppies. In a few days she will probably start bleeding.
