Is 50 degrees Fahrenheit too cold to have a puppy outside to play? At what temperatures do chihuahuas get too cold? This puppy is 7-8 months and weighs a good 6-7 lbs. Just wondering what temperature is too cold to have chis outside to run around and exercise/play. Thank you.

Hi, i would suggest wearing a little coat, and only short spells of being outside at a time.
Our little dogs keep their coats on when the weather is cold, and they always prefer to be indoors, if it is too chilly  Smiley have fun.

Take care

Sarah

They should be OK, just keep an eye out for EXCESSIVE shivering and as Sarah mentioned, a little while can't hurt Smiley
