What really is best for Chihuahuas?

I still am in favour of dry foods, with the variety of other supplements, and of course plenty of water available.

Many dry foods are of high calorie and high carb, which are the true contributors to overweight dogs. But, dry food is more convenient for Chihuahuas. Dry dog food is best to start early, so that your Chihuahua can get used to the texture. Small dry dog food for puppies will also prevent choking and help control bowel movements.
