What are your thoughts or experience on when the best time to spay your puppy is? My chi is only 15 weeks, due for her last set of vacs and my vet is recommending we go ahead and spay her. Is she too young or little? She weighs over 4 lbs. Also, what all does the spay process entail? Is it very painful for them? How long before back to their normal self? And I am getting mixed answers on whether they do or do not need pain medicine for this procedure. Any info appreciated.
