A Vet has warned of an outbreak of a potentially lethal dog virus in South-east, U.K.:

Parkvets has recently dealt with  cases of canine parvovirus at his veterinary clinic.
Parvovirus causes sickness and diarrhoea, and can be fatal.

It is a real problem, unvaccinated dogs have a 50 per cent chance of dying from this.
He is describing this as an outbreak, and has put out an alert to all other vets.
Its contagious  and can spread very quickly.

The RSPCA says it is made worse by people failing to vaccinate their animals.
Anyone looking for a dog should avoid buying from puppy farms where the virus can spread more easily.
