Pure breed "red" smooth short-haired deerhead Chihuahua female with radar-dish ears. Just weaned four pups (all just adopted), was wonderful mother and companion. JUST COMPLETED HOUSE VISIT AND ADOPTION PROCESS, AND DID VERY WELL WITH FAMILY AND OTHER DOGS. Father is a short-haired purebreed applehead Chihuahua. All pups are deerheads, deer-legged, smooth short-hair, with radar-dish ears. There is one male left "red" fawn, plus the mother, ADOPTED. There was also another "red" fawn male, a white male, and black female, JUST ADOPTED (March 3 & 10 & 26, 2010). Rescued and hand-raised by professional rescuer/trainer and manager of shelter organization for 15 yr. Affectionate, devoted, playful, "magical," and a great heating pad. Slideshows show pups at 6 wk of age. Mother was fixed on February 26, with dewclaw removed (congenital to breed) and microchip installed. It would be nice for mother to go to a home with one of her pups, but most important, for them to go to good homes. Onsite in Burbank Saturday through Wednesday, in Palmdale Thursday & Friday. House visit required and rehoming fee, so only locals need apply. Amen to that, thank goodness there are still kind people who take care of homeless and injured animals.
